  • Good Lord, ths germophobe stuff gets more ridiculous all the time. I've eaten cookie dough since I was a kid and never had a problem. I've never known a single person who has gotten sick from cookie dough in over 50 years on the planet. Give me a break. These scientists need to get a life.

  • I still think you're all delusional. I watched my parent's finances before they passed away and they certainly didn't live like kings in retirement. My father had a teacher's pension of about $22K, they had paid off their 1300 square foot house and had very modest cars.

  • Just for once, I'd like to hear money advice from someone who lives in the real world and is raising a family on less than six figures.  The national average income is a little over $50K for a family of four and the middle class is becoming an endangered species.

  • Children aren't an experiment. If you don't want to be a parent (and realize up front that being a parent requires a lot of sacrifice) don't have kids. I wish we, as a society, would be more open about the fact that being a good parent is rewarding but hard and not everyone should be a parent.
